pace1-1024x1024Pace, who was recently presented “Rookie of the Year” winner, is an account manager working in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His eagerness to be successful, as well as being a valuable resource to his customers, makes him a significant addition to the FE team. Pace is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but grew up in Southlake, Texas. He has lived in the DFW area for around 15 years now. He recently graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton and is currently living in the Addison area. He enjoys spending free time with his friends and family, especially his brother, Lane. He travels to Rockwall most weekends to see his family and their dogs, but he also likes getting out on the town with friends. He loves to be outdoors, whether it’s fishing, playing golf, or anything in between, as well as working out and being active. He still likes to toss the pigskin around and play basketball, too.


How does working for FE align with your life goals?

Working for FE definitely aligns with my life goals because it allows me to lead an active, on-the-go lifestyle that I crave. Also, the flexibility of creating my own schedule allows me to be present for family and social gatherings that are important to me.

Where were you (job or industry) before joining FE? Did you see yourself in a sales role?

Prior to working for FE, I worked at Costco Wholesale in Frisco while attending UNT. I have known for some time that I wanted a career in sales.  I loved interacting with people and I knew sales would be the perfect career to have an unlimited career path.

What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment so far in your career with FE?

My biggest accomplishment with FE so far is hitting and surpassing all of my new account and product line targets for the first year.  Being nominated Rookie of the Year was a great accomplishment, too!

What are the most rewarding parts of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is entering orders, knowing that I have helped my customers solve problems and have saved them time and money.  The knowledge I have acquired on how those products and solutions help my customers save money have really accelerated the trust that my customers have with me.

What do you consider a fulfilling workday?

 A day where I can solve problems and save my customers time and money would definitely be a fulfilling day.

Pace’s manager, Matt, shares his experience working with Pace:

It has been so much fun working with Pace. He’s very eager to get results and be successful.  There is never a dull moment out in the field with Pace.  He not only likes to have fun, but he has genuine interest in his customers and sets his sights on being their favorite representative of the day.

How would you describe the relationship with his customers?

Pace is a definite resource to his customers. They value his time with them and the relationships that they have formed. This is very evident in the warm reception, handshakes, and pats on the back that he gets from many of his customers. He has definitely engrained himself into their team and the relationships are strong.
